Arrival in Bucharest and transfer to Iasi; on the way we will stop in Bacau to visit the Prince's Palace, the Church of the Virgin erected by Alexandru (son of Stephen the great). Continue the trip to Iasi, capital of the Romanian part of Moldavia, dinner and overnight stay in hotel 3 *.
Visit of the historical centre of Iasi - second city as number of inhabitants after the capital: the Orthodox Cathedral, the Palace of Culture, the Church of Saint Paraschiva and the National Theatre. Departure to the Bucovina, en route we will visit the monastery of Moldovita, Unesco site as other monasteries of Bucovina. Last but not least, we will see how are created the traditional painted eggs Bukovina by a local artist. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Vama 3 * surrounded by greenery with dinner in the same place.
We will depart for visiting the monasteries Voronet and Sucevita, Humor (the Sistine Chapel of the East), the Marginea complex where black ceramic objects are produced. Dinner and night on thesame guesthouse.
Departure towards Sighetu Marmatei (Maramures) and, on the way, we will visit the wooden churches in the Unesco world heritage with inner paintings: Bogdan Voda and Ieud, Rozavlea. We will make a stop at Barsana monastery (monastery built entirely from wood that contains one of the tallest wooden churches in the world). Dinner and overnight stay in a 3* guesthouse, in Sighetu Marmatiei.
In the morning drive to Sapanta where we will visit the "Merry Cemetery" so called on account of several gravestones bearing witty verses that remind us of vices and virtues of the deceased. Visit the monastery that embraces the tallest church in the world, a construction made entirely from wood, Sapanta. We will leave to Cluj-Napoca. Visit to the center of the city of Cluj-Napoca (birthplace of the greatest Hungarian King Matei Corvin): the Church of St. Michael and the Orthodox Cathedral. We will continue the journey to Sighisoara (birthplace of Vlad Tepes known as Dracula), passing through the city of Targu Mures, where we will make a stop and visit the old town. Dinner and overnight stay in 3 * pension.
Visit to Sighisoara, another pearl of Transylvania included in UNESCO World Heritage site, with its historical centre among the best preserved in Europe apart from being the birthplace of Vlad III said the Impaler. Visit of two Protestant churches: the Monastery and the Church of the Hill, the clock tower and the walls with towers of Defense. On the way to visit Sibiu we will visit Biertan also, well-known village for the presence of one of the most important fortified churches of Transylvania and ranked in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. To avoid penalties, for the cancellation of reservations you must notify in writing, by email at click here. com and by phone at +39-348-3201647with an advance of 2 days prior to departure. For those who do not communicate the cancellation within 2 days before the Tour the client is obliged to pay the entire fee. You will not be able to refund. There are no refunds for customers who present late for the release schedule for the visit, to customers who lose contact with the guide or do not arrive at the end of the Tour. Hello Transylvania can cancel the reservation, in whole or in part, without any compensation. If the reservation is cancelled before the beginning of the tour the client has the full refund of amounts paid. In the case of force majeure (road conditions, strikes, delays, change of opening hours or other problems), the Tour Operator may make changes to the tour at any time or replace it with an equivalent alternative service categories, or if not available, lower-category with restitution of the price difference. In this case the price is subject to change, will be proposed and communicated in advance before departure. Hello Transylvania has paid careful attention in the formulation of programmes submitted for the descriptions correspond exactly to the service offered.
