Dal Danubio alla Transilvania

A journey into the heart of the traditional Romanian culture, so you could summarize this tour that aims to show the visitors Transylvania, Bucovina, Maramures and Moldova. First day : Bucharest - Iasi (390 Km )

Arrival in Bucharest and transfer to Iasi; on the way we will stop in Bacau to visit the Prince's Palace, the Church of the Virgin erected by Alexandru (son of Stephen the great). Continue the trip to Iasi, capital of the Romanian part of Moldavia, dinner and overnight stay in hotel 3 *.

Second day : Iasi – Moldovita – Vama (196 Km)

Visit of the historical centre of Iasi - second city as number of inhabitants after the capital: the Orthodox Cathedral, the Palace of Culture, the Church of Saint Paraschiva and the National Theatre. Departure to the Bucovina, en route we will visit the monastery of Moldovita, Unesco site as other monasteries of Bucovina. Last but not least, we will see how are created the traditional painted eggs Bukovina by a local artist. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Vama 3 * surrounded by greenery with dinner in the same place.

Third day : Vama – Sucevita – Gura Humorului – Voronet – Vama (160 Km)

We will depart for visiting the monasteries Voronet and Sucevita, Humor (the Sistine Chapel of the East), the Marginea complex where black ceramic objects are produced. Dinner and night on thesame guesthouse.

Fourth day : Vama – Sighetu Marmatie (220Km)

Departure towards Sighetu Marmatei (Maramures) and, on the way, we will visit the wooden churches in the Unesco world heritage with inner paintings: Bogdan Voda and Ieud, Rozavlea. We will make a stop at Barsana monastery (monastery built entirely from wood that contains one of the tallest wooden churches in the world). Dinner and overnight stay in a 3* guesthouse, in Sighetu Marmatiei.

Fifth day : Sighetu Marmatie – Sighisoara (340Km)

In the morning drive to Sapanta where we will visit the "Merry Cemetery" so called on account of several gravestones bearing witty verses that remind us of vices and virtues of the deceased. Visit the monastery that embraces the tallest church in the world, a construction made entirely from wood, Sapanta. We will leave to Cluj-Napoca. Visit to the center of the city of Cluj-Napoca (birthplace of the greatest Hungarian King Matei Corvin): the Church of St. Michael and the Orthodox Cathedral. We will continue the journey to Sighisoara (birthplace of Vlad Tepes known as Dracula), passing through the city of Targu Mures, where we will make a stop and visit the old town. Dinner and overnight stay in 3 * pension.

Sixth day : Sighisoara – Sibiu ( 98 Km)

Visit to Sighisoara, another pearl of Transylvania included in UNESCO World Heritage site, with its historical centre among the best preserved in Europe apart from being the birthplace of Vlad III said the Impaler. Visit of two Protestant churches: the Monastery and the Church of the Hill, the clock tower and the walls with towers of Defense. On the way to visit Sibiu we will visit Biertan also, well-known village for the presence of one of the most important fortified churches of Transylvania and ranked in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. Before arriving in Sibiu we will make a stop in the town of Medias and visit the fortified church from the historical center, with its tower known as the leaning tower of Pisa of Romania (the Bell Tower of the Church has a slight slope). Arriving in Sibiu and dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in hotel 3 *.

Seventh day : Sibiu – Bucharest (280Km)

Visit to the city of Sibiu, the principal city of Saxon origin from Transylvania, with its narrow streets and houses decorated with distinctive pavements, the friendly pastel colors whose architecture is so close to a German town. European capital of culture in 2007 Sibiu presents a completely refurbished old town: the Grand and the Small square, the Brukenthal Museum, the Catholic Church, the Protestant Cathedral and the Orthodox Cathedral, departure to Bucharest and, along the way, visit to the 14th century monastery in Cozia. In Bucharest - visit to the old town and overnight in 3 * hotel and dinner in a local restaurant.

Eighth day : Bucharest (15 Km)

In the morning, a possible mini-tour in the city of Bucharestt depending on the flight schedule. Transfer to the airport.

For groups over 8 people please feel free to submit a request as each tour may vary according to the needs of tourists and the price you will be notified via email. Terms of booking and payment must be pre-booked tours via e-mail to martinatravelaln@hotmail.com indicating personal details and customer address, name and date of tour that you want to book. Acceptance of reservations is subject to availability of seats and is perfected upon confirmation. At the time of acceptance you shall pay an amount equal to 25% of the total tour price via bank transfer while the balance will be due on the spot upon arrival in Romania.

• flight ticket and museums tickets

• any other meals not mentioned in the program

• porterage fees, gratuities (in Romania using a 10% leave gratuities) and other personal expenses

• alcoholic beverages and soft drinks at meals (water included)

Issuance of vouchers

The customer will receive by the Tour Operator the vouchers after paid the rest of the tour

Cancellation reservations

To avoid penalties, for the cancellation of reservations you must notify in writing, by email at click here. com and by phone at +39-348-3201647with an advance of 2 days prior to departure. For those who do not communicate the cancellation within 2 days before the Tour the client is obliged to pay the entire fee. You will not be able to refund. There are no refunds for customers who present late for the release schedule for the visit, to customers who lose contact with the guide or do not arrive at the end of the Tour. When, for whatever reason, the Tour Operator cancels the Tour, the customer is entitled to a refund of the amount paid


The customer may be replaced by another person, provided that: a) the organiser is informed in writing at least 4 working days before the departure date, getting together with communication about the generality of the transferee.


Hello Transylvania can cancel the reservation, in whole or in part, without any compensation. If the reservation is cancelled before the beginning of the tour the client has the full refund of amounts paid. In the case of force majeure (road conditions, strikes, delays, change of opening hours or other problems), the Tour Operator may make changes to the tour at any time or replace it with an equivalent alternative service categories, or if not available, lower-category with restitution of the price difference. In this case the price is subject to change, will be proposed and communicated in advance before departure. When, regardless of the reservations, in the period of greatest tourist influx, delays occur for entries to museums or other places of tourist attraction Hello Transylvania and its staff are not responsible


Hello Transylvania has paid careful attention in the formulation of programmes submitted for the descriptions correspond exactly to the service offered. If there were any reason for complaint, customers are invited to contact the Tour Operator Martina Travel ALN, which will intervene with all means at its disposal. In the absence of such a report, no complaints will be considered next by Hello Transylvania.


Any customer complaint must be communicated to the Tour operators in writing no less than 10 working days after the end of the tour. Complaints that cannot be resolved between you and the Tour Operator will be within the competence of the law courts of Bucharest.
